My name is Braydon Turner. I am a lighting designer, assistant, programmer, and electrician based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. My portfolio has a variety of theatrical, dance, and various other productions.
My job as a lighting designer is to use light purposefully to create designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and emotionally engaging. I approach each project with a strong creative vision, a sharp attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of lighting technology. I bring directors', scenic designers', and production teams' creative ideas to life by working closely with them. I use light to build the mood, draw attention to important details, and guide the viewer's attention.
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Theatre Production, with a concentration in lighting design & management, at Point Park University's Conservatory of Performing Arts. I am currently employed at the Pittsburgh Playhouse as an electrician and audio apprentice.
